Building of dreams…

You guys have to bear this little monologue, before you could step into the post..

This is my first submission for Jithin’s Mundane Monday Challenge..

For those of you, wondering, what is this in the picture, it’s where moulded clay are burnt to bricks..

Which is a very common sight, if you travel through certain parts of Tamilnadu..

The cry of clay

I hope you too found the sad face..

The splatter of that paint is also a very common sight, yet what makes it interesting is the formation of the sad face..

A fragment of those thousand words spilled in colors, are captured in few words too..

Building of dreams

I know that,

The fire within
Is gonna
Scorch
Burn
Harden
Decolor
Distort
And torture me,
For days,
Till I yield to it..

The pain
Is not
Simple
To endure..

Yet,

For me
To grow and glow
I must endure pain..

I also know that,

The images
We form
As a kid
Are the hardest
To be replaced..

Hence, I accept,

All this pain,
The endurance
The perseverance
As part of me
And my younger days…

So,
One day,
I could be
In the dream house
Of another child..

Yet,
I weep for
The pain..
Of
Not yet reaching
My destiny…

— The words of the to-be-brick clay

Edit note:

The above pic is the edited and here’s the unedited one..

    1. The second reading gave me an idea of the profound thought from a mundane visual. The interpretation of the sad face, the pain and the purpose are quite brilliant thoughts to come up with, from the image. Awesome.
Thank you for joining the challenge and adding a more philosophical dimension to it. 🙂

    2. Thanks Jithin!!!

For the second reading and the nice comment… 🙂

Some things make us so compulsive to avoid it.. One such thing was the click and the words that went with it… 🙂

Sometimes, our decisions start ruling our lives.. So was the click..

A random shot on a travel..
It made me travel farther.. 😉
