Just like a band,
The farther we moved apart,
The closer and fierce the union was..

But it would not last forever,
And so the stretch begins, again..
The time tests the stretch..

But not every stretch results,
In the fierce or even
Not-so-fierce hug back together..

For the elasticity is finite..
For the distance is infinite..
For the fate is written so..
