Steps! They are well worn! Many people have used those steps but to go up …. or to go down? Perhaps both? Were they walking … or running…. and why? What is at the bottom? What is at the top? Were the people adventurers, or refugees? Recreational enthusiasts or environmentalists? They could have been very young….. or very old, and perhaps had horses or donkeys to accompany them? Did those that go up them find their goal, or did they return disappointed. Did those that come down them ever return to the top? So many questions must go unanswered. So many stories must go untold. Steps!

Isn’t the general definition of steps, to bridge from one level to another?!

yes baba… correct! but the movement from the zero-level to the crest and back gives a feeling of steps (joking)

Steps on a level track? Why not? There may be small obstructions to step over, or simply steps to follow to a specific end. There are many 12-Step programs for personal growth, and many of us follow(ed) predetermined steps for career development. There are also many and varied dance steps which are generally executed on a level surface. 🙂

Interesting thoughts coming from some simple depressions on a hard surface!

If you add into consideration, the altitude of that hard surface, it doesn’t look so simple..

Perhaps there is a life message there? Never be fooled by perceived simplicity?
