hahha..interesting question you posed, Ms A. Could be a multitude of reasons ranging from apprehension on the quality of the article, to few of the reasons one of the bloggers mentioned in an earlier comment!!

I can speak only with respect to my experience. For me sometimes its just procrastination especially if what I wrote last time wasn’t as good as I thought it in my mind, sometimes it is realization that I am no good in writing (short lived realization), sometimes what I want to write about is so personal or close to me that I am not sure anyone else would understand, and since I can’t write about that I don’t write about anything else, cause my every thought is channeled towards something I can’t or won’t write. And funnily, if I am too happy, I don’t write.
