What will it be?

He looked at the blank screen
And the blank face reflected on it,
Waiting for the yes or no,
To build or shatter his dreams!

What would you complete the first phase with?

Do click on the link to view more interesting takes.. Thanks to HB for the two phrase story prompts!

The fading picture!

It was a fading picture
And hence I threw it away!

If you were expecting a twist or dramatization of the picture, sorry to disappoint you.. That’s what actually happens in life most of the times.. 😉

Revelation!

And in a puff
The dark clouds parted,
To reveal
A beautiful silver lining!

What would you add to the phrase “and in a puff“?

Where are they?

Where are the plans,
We plotted together
To rule the world?

Where are the dreams,
We dreamt alike
To make a difference?

Where are the shoulders,
That lifted my burdens,
By taking them up yourself?

And above all,
Where are the heartbeats,
That were promised for me
To beat in sync with mine?

No one!

I’m no one
to you in the list of
predefined relationships,
while you are
everything to me!

This week HeSheStory is merged with Dr. H Bhatnagar’s two-phrase story challenge!

Challenge? Who has the patience to follow the rules / link backs?
If that’s what you were thinking, you are in the right place. Coz the rules are almost nil!
(Hmm.. Are there any, Dr. HB? Since I don’t follow most rules, I skipped this too.. :P)
But if you are willing to stick to rules, refer here!

Willing to take part in this challenge?
Feel free to reply to the first phrase either in my comment section or the original posts’ comment section.
(See how simple this is!)

Feel free to unleash your creativity with a new second phrase
(or bit more, coz he has a big heart to accommodate more than a second phrase.. 😉 )

There’s little more!
He compiles all the entries and posts!
Trust me, it is awesome to see the multitude of replies for a single phrase.
Check out the last week’s compilation here!

So what’s your reply to I’m no one
Looking forward for your take on this.. 🙂

Destiny – Is there a choice to it?

This is in reply to Dr. H Bhatnagar’s two-phrase story challenge!

So what’s your reply to It wasn’t my choice…
Looking forward for your take on this.. 🙂
And here’s my take!

It wasn’t my choice,
But my destiny
to travel the less trodden path
and pave way for others
to follow and reach new destinations!

For now or Forever?!

Click, click, click…
The beauty of the moment was lost,
to the naked eye,
as it was viewing through the view-finder,
to freeze them forever in pictures!

The first phrase is provided by Dr. HB in his blog here. Anyone who comes across this is free to give an alternate second phrase. Feel free to unleash your creativity with a new second phrase. And just remember to post it in the comments.. Looking forward for your take on this.. 🙂

Long Night.. Phew or Sigh?!

It is the longest night,
Yet, I craved for it to go on forever..

(Since she was by my side,
in the way I preferred her to be!)

Am I excused?!

“I’m sorry, ” I said
To HB, for joining in so late!

But consoled myself,
Better late than never,
To join in his Two-phrase story challenge,
Which I have extended to two-verse.. 😛

I will be sticking to just another phrase, from next week.. 😉 (I hope I do follow that!)
