The tale from the tune..

I was referred to a musical adventure by my friend Colin (@ http://www.meandray.com). Thanks once again for referring that beautiful song..

This music of the song spoke to me of a tale.. And while I started replying to thank, I started describing what vision was painted from the music.. The description sounded sort of poetic just like the music.. I loved listening to it and as well writing it..

The musical adventure is by Emerson, Lake & Palmer

There are two pauses in the song and the following is for the music between the two pauses..

He is wearing a tuxedo
She is wearing a gorgeous blue dress..

The blue, as in the shade of water
As it appears in the midday,
When clouds rest in the laps of mountains
And leave the sky to have
A hearty and uninterrupted conversation
With the Vast deep ocean..

He is sitting on the garden
Next to the shallow region of the river
Water flows softly with a mild melody
As it speaks sweet nothings with the wind..

She hears him on the piano
She understands that it’s for her..
She has to cross the water to reach him..
She takes each step so stealthily
And with the minimal of noise
To give a surprise as well as
Not to disturb the serenity of the moment..

As she reaches him, she blinds him with her hands
And he grabs her by the waist and pulls her in front of him..
She laughs heartily without any single worry..
For she is in his hands..
His face brightens up seeing her laughter..

He kisses her playfully and it grows on to be passionate..
As they both lose themselves to each others embrace..

When they hit back earth,
There is some unnamed happiness,
Beyond description, reason or point..

They start dancing..
The Slow and sensual salsa..
They revolve around each other
Drunk in love and the other..

The tunes change,
The moods change,
The beats change..
The dance too changes..

As time flows,
It seems to be long way from that day..
Something has broken them apart..

They could neither leave
Not be together with the old giddiness..

And the lyrics speak again
And the trance comes to a close!

Responsibility vs Passion and a little touch of Harry’s magic

In the last book of Harry potter series, out of the many decisions he make, the one dilemma that struck me special is the choice between the Horcrux and the Deathly Hallows.

Horcrux is the job assigned to him, as in find and destroy them i.e. His responsibility. Without any clue of what it is, where it is but with the warning of, it’s concealed as any object, could be in any place and it is very highly protected and it might cost him his life and soul. Doesn’t sound so interesting right? Hmm.. That’s his fate..

Now let’s see about Deathly Hallows.. This is Harry’s new found craze and might be called as his passion. He is already in rightful possession of one of the three objects and has been using it for years, has another object concealed in his possession, and has a very good source to find the missing third object..

Now, the dilemma of him.. To go after the seemingly impossible task of finding and destroying the Horcrux or to go after the Hallows and safeguard himself from death as well as attain unique and ultimate power.

Despite all the inclination, he chose Horcrux over Hallows or in other words, his responsibility over passion.

As the story progresses, he seems to be in possession of the Hallows, even before he could accomplish his task to completion!

Coming back to muggle-world / earth-speak, aren’t we finding ourselves in the diverse roads often? Between passion and responsibility? So can we say that, though we might go after our responsibility, we could also find oneself accomplishing passion too?

Is it possible in the world without magic? May I take a leap to responsibility and yet find myself growing wings to conquer my dreams?

Passions and Possibilities!

Had N number of Passions.
Had N number of Possibilities.

Out of the N number
Not even one
Could cater to all Passions
And not even few
Could cater to most Passions.

Then came the prioritising
Of Passions and
Discrimination of Possibilities
In the name of Practicality.

Then came a new possibility
Possessing my heart and soul
Though it was not listed
In the N number of Passions
Or in the N number of Possibilities.

The Possessive Passion
Paved way for every other Passion
With a new Possibility
And gave Hope that
Anything is Possible
When the Heart and Soul
Is tuned to achieve that
One single Goal
Without any diversion!

And it also proved that
N number is not a nightmare
And also that
N number is not all,
For the destiny could be beyond
the N number of Passions
and the N number of Possibilities!
