Language of communication

Few conversations
Are beyond words
And silence
Is as effective
As eloquence
When the communicators
Know to interpret
And understand them!

Expressions and Experiences!

Those who have seen, hasn’t expressed it;
Those who have expressed, hasn’t seen it!

கண்டவர் விண்டிலர்; விண்டவர் கண்டிலர்!

kaNDavar viNdilar; viNdavar kaNDilar!

This statement is with reference to God. But I would like to extend it to many other experiences.

We do talk a lot and we seem to dish out advises every way, whenever an opportunity presents itself.
But do we really mean what we talk?
Do we really experience the tales we spin?
Are the tales we boast of are from experience?
Or is the spinning of tale is the actual experience?

And there are certain experiences. Even the best of artist couldn’t express the experience completely even in the medium they excel at.. Such as a Musician couldn’t recreate the experience in the music. The music he composes could even be better than the experience, but the actual recreation isn’t possible. Even for the endless words available to a writer, the experience is altogether a different ball game.

So I suggest every arm-chair traveller to push themselves and experience the experience of actual travel! The travel would not lead to the magical world of Narnia or the fantastic Hogwarts. But there is another kind of magic in reality.

The love and kindness of a stranger in a moment of dire need.
The happiness of the window seat on a scenic route.
The shades of sky and the speed of changes during the sunset.
The smell of petrichor combined with the flowers of the local and human scents.
The rush of air and the play with the hair.
The taste of food after waiting hungry for an hour.

There are much more to add to that list. Which could never ever be completely explained even by exhausting the vocabulary of the world. For there is no match to experience! Ever!

Me, the Panda!

I am a big fat Panda
with a fat butt,
flappy hands and
a huge tummy!

Raised to be the Noodle-maker,
Despite dreams of Dragon Warrior!

I am shun down by the masters,
Experts and everyone else,
as the Dragon Warrior..

Yet the belief is the only thing
that let the wheels to be in motion
and never to stop..

The dream hasn’t faded,
Just clouded
and buried inside
multiple mundane chores
and clutters of disbelief..

The clutter and cloud
keeps burying and
needs constant reminder
to clear up and stand back..

When the need comes,
the courage to raise up to the enemy
And the belief in self..
Let that thought not be elusive
in the moments of despair,
in the moments of agony and
in the moments of self-doubt..

When the belief is as strong as
relentless perseverance,
there is nothing to hold me back
and stand between me and my destiny!

For I am not a big fat panda,
but I am the big fat panda!

Responsibility vs Passion and a little touch of Harry’s magic

In the last book of Harry potter series, out of the many decisions he make, the one dilemma that struck me special is the choice between the Horcrux and the Deathly Hallows.

Horcrux is the job assigned to him, as in find and destroy them i.e. His responsibility. Without any clue of what it is, where it is but with the warning of, it’s concealed as any object, could be in any place and it is very highly protected and it might cost him his life and soul. Doesn’t sound so interesting right? Hmm.. That’s his fate..

Now let’s see about Deathly Hallows.. This is Harry’s new found craze and might be called as his passion. He is already in rightful possession of one of the three objects and has been using it for years, has another object concealed in his possession, and has a very good source to find the missing third object..

Now, the dilemma of him.. To go after the seemingly impossible task of finding and destroying the Horcrux or to go after the Hallows and safeguard himself from death as well as attain unique and ultimate power.

Despite all the inclination, he chose Horcrux over Hallows or in other words, his responsibility over passion.

As the story progresses, he seems to be in possession of the Hallows, even before he could accomplish his task to completion!

Coming back to muggle-world / earth-speak, aren’t we finding ourselves in the diverse roads often? Between passion and responsibility? So can we say that, though we might go after our responsibility, we could also find oneself accomplishing passion too?

Is it possible in the world without magic? May I take a leap to responsibility and yet find myself growing wings to conquer my dreams?
