A forever story!

She knew exactly
What troubles him,
What constraints him,
What he is going through,
What would free him,
What he would become..
Yet she felt helpless,
For he is the caterpillar
And she is the branch
Upon which the cocoon rests.

Hence she also knew that
The caterpillar will have to abandon
The cocoon and the branch
For he is meant to be a butterfly
With all the beautiful colors
Fluttering it’s wings
Far and beyond
The vision or reach of
The branch and the cocoon!

P.S. Not all forever stories are about being together.. And not all he-she stories are between lovers.. 😉
